Dear Stunt Performers,
One Year Anniversary and Going Strong
It's hard to believe a whole year has gone by since we ran our first
Stunt Boot Camp! We have come so far and made so many great friends.
A number of our graduates are now active as stunt performers in the
industry and making us proud. We credit them and all of our Stunt Boot
Camp participants for enabling us to keep things going with every Stunt
Boot Camp in this challenging time. Thank you!!
Stunt Boot Campers Making it in the Industry and Doing us Proud
Big Stunt Boot Camp HOORAHs for Willie Weber, working on "Paul" with
Darrin Prescott doubling one of the leads and now doubling Val Kilmer on
"MacGruber", and Nathan Moore showing his air ram prowess and Jessica
Kampling proving her stunt driving talents and earning their SAG cards on
"Dragonslayer"! Kathy Borkoski is such a hit with the stunt community in
L.A. that we expect we will be announcing her SAG card next. Go Kathy!
And last but not least, this summer Mike Long doubled one of the leads
stunt driving for Darrin Prescott on "Paul," doubled actor William Sterchi
for Al Goto on "In Plain Sight," and looks forward to working with Clint Lilley
next week on "Crash."
L.A. Stunts Training Center Endorsed by Stunt Industry Leaders
We are pleased, honored, and tickled pink that the Stuntmen's Association
of Motion Pictures is now referring people who inquire about stunt training
to us. Stuntwoman extraordinaire Spice Williams has also publically endorsed
us exclusively, and we thank her for the honor!
Fall Stunt Boot Camps Ready to Roll: September, October, and
November
After a long summer with all it has to offer, fall is a perfect time to get back
in the swing of things! Our September Stunt Boot Camp is coming up soon,
September 14-19, and we are nearly filled to capacity with our biggest
class to date. Participants are flying in from Virginia, driving in from Texas,
and taking advantage of an excellent opportunity close to home, right here
in ABQ. Trainees are now enrolling for our October 5-10 and November 9-14
Stunt Boot Camps as well. We welcome actor and Green Beret Jimmy
Sellers from Fort Campbell, the first to sign up for our October class.
Welcome Jimmy and family! If you plan on taking the October Stunt Boot
Camp, be advised it is at the same time as the Albuquerque Balloon/Fiesta,
so make your hotel reservations now. The training center is next to the
balloon park, so we will be getting a front row seat!
